Restore balance and harmony to your body, mind and emotions
About me....
I first began practicing Yoga in 2005 and it has been a constant passion and inspiration to me since then. My sole purpose as a teacher is to share what I love.
I am a fully qualified BWY teacher holding a 500hr level 4 teaching Diploma as well as further qualifications in teaching Restorative Yoga, Yin Yoga, Mindfulness meditation and Yoga for stress, burnout and fatigue.
I offer regular weekly daytime classes in which I blend all these aspects of Yoga as well as offering separate workshops dedicated to Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga and meditation.
My style of teaching is unhurried and sometimes meditative. We explore thoughtful exploratory movement in our bodies with some understanding of the anatomical physical effects but also the sensed energetic effects. I softly integrate ideas of the philosophical texture of Yoga to support the understanding of the fuller depths of possibilities of this practice that we can take into our lives. As well as the physical Asana aspect of Yoga, the classes include dedicated time to explore breath exploration (Pranayama) and guided relaxation time to finish. Most importantly....the classes are fun...there is always room for laughter and light heartedness.
Yoga is for every -body and so my classes are both welcome and available to all abilities and levels of experience. I encourage all who practice with me to know that each practice is invited to be with awareness and permission to what is right for them in that moment.
Yoga has many well known positive benefits for:
* improving or restoring mobility and stability in your body
* developing body and self awareness
* breathing and circulation
* calming the mind, nervous system, emotional landscape
* focussing the mind
For me, Yoga is a way of nurturing myself and bringing me
back to a feeling of clarity within...
to the Essence of myself.
